I was asked to present a “NeRFs 101” talk at the CG Pro Summit this past weekend. This is a charity event that raises money for CG Empowers – all the money raised during the event went directly to create initiatives to train talented artists from diverse backgrounds who might otherwise not be able to attend CG Pro‘s courses. There were a ton of sessions running in two rooms in parallel so it was impossible to watch everything, but it seems like everyone enjoyed the weekend and got a lot out of all the different talks. More importantly, a bunch of money was raised so underrepresented and underprivileged artists can get access to CG Pro classes. Here is a great description of what the Summit was all about, and why CG Empowers was created. I am not sure if the sessions will be posted online or not, but I will link them here if that happens.
